Specimen Preparation

Sectioning:
-Shafts up to 5.25” in Diameter
-Opening for shafts of any length

Mounting:
-Ability to mount specimen 1”-2” mold sizes

Polishing:
-Prepare mold for analysis
-leaves part with a mirror finish
-Dual polishing wheels for multiple grit sizes

Specimen Analysis

Inverted Microscope:
-Analysis of grain size and structure

Micro-Hardness Tester:
